What we collect

When using the vCreate service or website, we may collect the following information:

  • Your full name, email address and mobile phone number
  • The password you create and the multi-factor authentication passcode you create (if applicable)
  • Videos, photos and messages
  • Visitation statistics such as IP Address and device type. This information is used for audit and/or system maintenance purposes only

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to provide you with the vCreate service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • To authenticate and identify your account on the vCreate service
  • To send monthly newsletter emails about vCreate or other related information which we think you may find interesting using the opted-in email address which you have provided. (vCreate Diaries only)


Information Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Controlling your personal information

vCreate Ltd act as Data Processors, which means a natural or legal person or organisation which processes personal data on behalf of a data controller. The healthcare organisation / hospital unit or clinical service inviting you to register for a vCreate account acts as the Data Controller, which means the natural or legal person or organisation which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data. We will only process your data when collected by an authorised data controller and when you have registered for an account under the lawful basis of providing consent (vCreate Diaries) or the Provision of Health or Social Care (vCreate Health).

If you no longer wish to use the vCreate service, you may request removal of your account when logged into the vCreate service.

Click on "Update My Details" from your dashboard, then click on "Request Account Removal" and confirm when prompted. The system administrator will aim to permanently delete your account along with all your associated data within 7 days.

If you no longer wish to receive our email communications, you may opt-out of receiving them by emailing us at privacy@vcreate.tv, by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any email communications or by unchecking the "Keep Me Updated" box under "Update My Details" from your dashboard when logged in to the vCreate service.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.

You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK Data Protection Act 2018. No fee will be payable. If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible, at the above address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

The vCreate service or website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave the vCreate service or website, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy policy. You should exercise caution and look at the privacy policy applicable to the website in question.



How we use cookies
